Hoe verhuis je een posterous site naar je eigen domein?

Door wat dingen aan te passen in de beheertool van Posterous en door op je eigen domein iets te doen in het DNS-beheer. Klinkt heel technisch en dat is het ook (voor mij). Het koste me wel een tijdje om dit te regelen.
Maar als het goed is worden alle berichten van igorterhalle.posterous.com geredirect naar tostilicum.nl.

Online actievoeren?

Komende dinsdag zal ik op het WIndesheim Honours College een film laten zien over hoe je online actie kunt voeren. In de 50-minuten durende film worden actievoerders uit de hele wereld aan het woord gelaten over hun werk en missie. Het is een inspirerende film die gebaseerd is op een toolkit die ontwikkelt is door de Tactical Knowlegde Collective. Deze organisatie ondersteunt allerlei initiatieven overal in de wereld. In de film worden 35 activisten geinterviewd over hun gebruik van nieuwe media.

Stephanie Hankey, mede oprichter van Tactical Tech, verwoord het als volgt:

The project came about when we hosted an info-activism camp in India earlier this year. The event brought together more than 100 rights advocates, technologists and designers from around the world who we knew had really interesting stories to tell about how they had turned information into action using digital technologies. We decided to document and explore people’s stories throughout the camp. When we had finished we knew that what we had collected was pretty remarkable. Many of the stories highlighted ground-breaking use of the internet and digital technologies. They show what is possible for rights advocates to achieve now even with very few resources.
